Today, we will explain how to install and wire the safety light curtain. The application range of the safety light curtain is also quite wide. The following small series introduces the wiring and installation is relatively simple. You can refer to the following:

How to install and wire the safety light curtain?

First, how to install?

1. Determine the installation location. For example, injection molding machines and hydraulic presses are generally installed on the front side 2, and some non-standard equipments must determine the installation position according to the actual situation, and achieve the protection effect without hindering normal work.

2. Punch. Make sure to install it in the position to punch.

3. Install the side mount bracket and sensor. The bracket and the sensor are installed together. First install the side bracket on the sliding slot of the sensor, tighten it, and then install it together to the corresponding hole position.

4. Wiring and cable management. The second big point below explains how to wire in detail. After connecting the lines, arrange the installed transmission lines and fix them to avoid the lines being too messy.

5. Commissioning. The last step is to debug and see if the safety grating is properly protected.

Second, how to wire?

Working power: DC24V ≥ 1500mA.

Working state: Both the transmitter and the receiver are lit green when the light is in the light state, and the receiver is lit red when the light is blocked.

Output status: NPN signal line output OV when passing light, and PNP signal line output 24V. The maximum drive current is ≤200mA. The NPN and PNP signal lines have no output during light blocking and are suspended.

Wiring precautions:

1. The transmitter brown line VCC is connected to the receiver brown line VCC, and then connected to the power supply +24DC.

2. The black line GND of the transmitter is connected to the black line GND of the receiver, and then connected to the negative pole of the power supply OV.

3. The transmitter gray line CP is connected to the receiver gray line CP.

4. The receiver blue line NPN signal output is OV, connected to the negative pole of the relay or connected to the PLC port.

5. Receiver white line PNP output signal is 24V. Connect the positive terminal of the relay or the port of the PLC.

Note: If you only need to use one of the NPN or PNP output signal lines. The other must be wrapped with insulating tape to avoid short circuit! ! !
